AC Officers’ Reports 

Chair & Chair-elect briefed Council on the following items:
• Legislative breakfast was held 1/27 and issues included the Frontier campus collaboration with District 203 and State funding for veterans’ education.
• Meeting with Dr. Chand included an update on the consultant’s report, which is being reviewed by Cabinet.

Evening Duty Guidebook

Council approved a few minor guidebook revisions, which will be sent via email.  Jim looked into using the employee portal for posting the guidebook and Administrator meeting minutes.  Since Council does not have a web page, the portal is not appropriate.  Web Board could be used to post the minutes; Jim will discuss with Meri Phillips.

Committee Reports

•  APDAT

API: Terry informed Council that the HR Director provided recommendations to Cabinet concerning the consultant’s report.  Cabinet will decide the next steps.

APDAT:  Mark said they are working on a Quality Decision Making session for March or April.  APDAT has also been assigned to review Administrator orientation and will be gathering information soon.

Administrator Evaluations 

Sue will research past minutes to determine what prior decisions were made.

Board Policy #4210 

Dr. Chand has convened a group to review the procedures concerning personal and professional growth.

Administrative Council/Faculty Senate meeting

Daniel and Harlan will meet with Senate leadership and determine issues of mutual interest to discuss.
