7. Room Scheduling/Event Planning

Phillips – handout; Reviewed CI Team’s recommendations and how they will affect Administrators – team will document processes and create training, some staffing has been changed, Board Policy & Administrative Procedure will be sent through regular processes for changes; will discuss with Leadership Council today. 8. Growth at COD
| D. Lloyd – President’s Forum – any comments, suggestions, ideas. J.Barillari - How can we be of more help to the President? Dan & Harlan will talk with him about this. Discussion about understanding growth/change model, scheduling efficiencies, helping to articulate financial models consistently, enrollment management takes into consideration what public needs, hone offerings and grow sensibly. What are different areas doing now? Need to be sure there is coordination so silos don’t emerge. Be sure quality issues are addressed, including defining quality. Shall we discuss the efforts at each meeting?

9. AA/Faculty Retreat Update
| J. Collins – handout of Academic & Student Affairs Updated Strategic Objectives for 2007-09, narrowed through several retreats/processes of review and revision of; IEC working on lining up planning processes to 4-year AQIP processes. Six objectives – 2 will be QIP and the other 4 will be CI Teams. |
10. AQUIP Update
| J. Collins – have Quality Site Check up Visit – April 27-29 -2 from Higher Ed Commission to review…. Systems portfolio, feedback report and ensure we are proceeding appropriately. Two were trained to be reviewers – W. Tetlow has been certified. Interdisciplinary cross-function work team will be created to prepare for visit.
5 QIPs active – 4-8; IEC developing template for communicate projects and progress; to move towards everyone being aware of the college’s involvement with Quality Projects. How do these relate to Action Plan Approval process? APs still need to be tied to these objectives under Institutional Goals and Cabinet will review and approve. |
11. Administrator Evening Duty Update
| H. Schweer - handout; 5:30-7:00pm on-campus, after 7pm still on call; manual will be created. Will start Mon., Oct. 30th. Work will begin on the manual; send suggestions to J. Barillari, J. Martner, J. Abel; will get input from Public Safety |

| Ethics Training – there will be personnel action if people don’t complete (letters in files). How will new hires be handled?

Suggestion from other college – have display of writings by staff/faculty – Liberal Arts has; Library has celebration every three years. |
